Portable Electric Outlets

Portable Electric Outlets

Portable Electric Outlets are coming in all shapes and sizes these days. Their uses range from charging dead car batteries to powering pest control in far away areas outside of civilization. I don’t know all there is to know about these exceptional devices, but I am researching and absorbing anything I can.

Recently, I found out they have something on the market that really is quite remarkable. They are portable electric outlets. They even look like a wall outlet just in travel size style. I will be getting one so I can charge my mobile phone in my car or out on a hike in the middle of a forest.  I could also plug a power inverter in my car and that would allow me to plug in anything that could withstand the wattage output.

Portable Electric Outlets Smaller than a Generator but more powerful that a battery

I love having a cell phone but I detest having to buy all the accessory pieces that go along with owning one. The phone itself costs quite a bit and then you need to purchase the type of memory the phone requires.  Now that mobile telephones come with cameras and video built in there has to be an additional storage for memory.  It’s one thing after another. My pet peeve is purchasing car phone chargers.  Some phones actually come with a dual charger, where the charger can plug into an a/c outlet or you can plug the adapter into a car cigarette lighter plug.  I haven’t been that fortunate when it comes to no losing my car and regular wall chargers.  This is where portable electric outlets come in to the picture as being one more thing I would have to lose to keep my phone from losing its charge.

There is now an easy solution to recharge devices such as laptops, and cell phones or whatever else is going with you on your road trip.  It’s a power source inverter.  Cars run on direct current, also know as D/C. The outlets in your house run on alternating current, also know as A/C. Using the Power source inverter will allow you to produce alternating current in your car.  Let’s face it, only expensive top-notch vehicles come equipped with a power outlet, so now there is an add-on gadget that can plug directly into your car.

There are a few brands such as Xantrek, Xpower, Targus, and Jensen that you can buy and they don’t cost as much as one would think. The price is comparable if you were to purchase a phone car charger but this would allow you to plug in anything as long as the wattage output can be sustained.  And you wouldn’t have to buy a separate car charger because this would allow you to charge any phone you have that comes with an electric plug. I’ve had about 4 phones in the last year four years, so that means 4 different phone car charges.  I could just continue to buy a phone as I need one because the wall charger usually comes with the phone, so all I would need is a power source inverter. Portable electrical outlets are cost efficient and are extremely handy.

Portable Electric Outlets are here to stay.
